You go girl! There is no shortage of T-28s of any model around. Anything that makes the general public think that airplanes are cool is a good thing. Can't wait to see it.

Where were all the people who wanted to save Mexican Air Force T-28s when I had 5 of them. Rare I saw over 20 of them, all corroded to pretty much the same condition as yours. Like you said parts aren't even worth much. Had one US engine pickled that didn't even bring much. Got servicable cylinders if anyones interested.

I am a preservationist and love museums but ill be honest, this is a great idea. Static aircraft are only seen in one location, they are not dynamic. If pulled off properly this will be in every hot rod magazine around the world. You can restore them all, At last it will survive in some form.

It is crazy how cool that T6 canopy looks...

Instead of wrapping the prop tips around the fuslage, you think you could saw off the edges and put a small generator inside the empty engine to use to turn the prop?

I would have to ruin the art car parade for sure. There is one there in particular that I would be aiming for --- the McDonald's Shoe Car. It is my arch enemy, or at least McDonald's Corporation is. I built that monstrosity for them years ago and they ran off without sending me the final large pay check. Man they have evil lawyers. They are on the hit list for the first "flight" of the Avenger. As odd as this sounds, I've never been to an art car parade because it is a little to weird even for me.

I'm open to idea on the topic of the propeller. I've considered using a cut down prop that could spin freely in the wind, as long as it has a brake on it to stop it so no one gets hurt.
