(EDIT: Double-checking the hatches on the Bf 109G-6 to see if any have the angled latch design seen here... otherwise it may be an F-model fuel fill hatch)

And this appears to be the very tip (past the axle) of one of the gear struts:

You also have a chunk of radiator and supercharger housing in the latest batch of debris. I'll do another pass on the known losses to see if we can narrow it down any further.

The Bf109 crashed in 1943 25 km south east of Salerno. In the mission of B-24 on Naples of 11 january 1943 of cap. Payne the survivors B-24 crews affirmed they shot down a Bf109 just around the place we find this crash (Prchal B-24 crashed just 1 km from Bf109 crash site and Payne B-24 crashed 5 km from it) but appear to be not confimation of this shot down. Perhaps the Bf109 can be shot down in sept 1943 during days of Salerno landing. Any help you can give will be very appreciated.
