i can't even imagine the feeling of reverse gravity. it must have sent so much blood to the upper extremities that your head felt like a watermelon. was yeager's bail out in the 104 upper or lower firing??

Yeager used an upward ejection seat. I lived in the Sacramento area in the mid 1960's. One my neighbors worked at McClellan AFB. I heard something about ejection seats hitting people or returning through the parachute canopy about the right time to have possibly been this incident. I also heard about the F-106 seat killing people.
