The dates mentioned are a little wrong. 617 Sqn launched Operation Chastise on 16th May 1943.

Nice catch, thank you.

I have amended the dates in the article to reflect that "Big Joe" took off at 2202 hours on Sunday May 16, 1943, and landed back at Scampton at 0311 hours on Monday May 17, 1943.
