I always have fun when taking these pics, however I was coming down with a stomach bug while doing the night shots of Twilight Tear so that wasn't much fun. I just kept thinking to myself, don't puke next to this beautiful plane!

Nice tribute to Bob Hoover, I always thought it was odd that until Gene Soucey started using one, nobody gave the AG CAT a thought as an airshow airplane, big, loud, lots of excess power, tough enough to fly into a building and slow enough for even little kids to track. Strange to realize that the Taylor AEROCAR and the 787 were born within 150 miles of each other and both were/are true cutting edge.
Anyone know the story on that pushmepullyou N712JF? Looks to be an RSTOL mod but where did those huge boom to vertical fairings come from?
As usual Al, now I want to go drive nails with my camera, thanks for the great shots.
