Hey Chris, Is the C-82 still in the shop or is it back outside after being repainted?

The CAF returned the aircraft to its owners after the original group of sponsors was unable to make funding requirements. This was partly due to their difficulty in getting "appearance fees" and invites to airshows with the aircraft, despite is immaculate interior. Last I heard, it was sitting at Chino.

The Convairs you saw at PIT were Air Tahoma's, including the one in my avatar. For a long time, the 240's were the regular bird on that run because it didn't have enough DHL freight to justify using one of the CV-580s, but it was swapped for a 580 when we started getting the new birds in 2004.
