If he drinks Moxie that explains a lot - thats why people from Maine talk funny- tried it once and still have hte taste in my mouth.

Hope all goes well and you have a quick recovery. With the advances over just the last few years he should be in good hands.

WLS3 - That was really funny.

Update - Rob is out of Surgery but they had to stop the procedure mid-stream and are going to have bring him in again. For those of you who know his whole background, well that issue is coming into play here and causing problems. His email is b25j@comcast.net if you wish to contact him directly. He is very appreciative of all the well wishes.

All I will add is that it sucks to get old...

I've enjoyed and also been on the receiving end of the Col's jabs more than once over the years.Judging by his whit and occasionally meanstreak. I get the feeling that he is a tough ol dude and will whip this problem.Good luck Col, and have a speedy recovery.Tim

Suck it up, old guy. Just because we're geezers, doesn't mean we ain't tough.
I was warned of the possibility of a "Stent" myself, just yesterday. :x

Hmmm.
Oh yeah, that was today, Hopefully this will make a difference, and he will feel better.
I talked to him a couple of weeks ago, and we are going to catch up with him for Andrews open house.

Do we really want to know his whole background? :butthead:

Rob, wishing you the best through this rough time and a speedy recovery, of yourself and hidden Navy aircraft.

I have never met the Col. face to face, but I have always gotten the impression, that Rob never quits on anything that he believes in. I hope Rob puts as much energy into getting well, that he has in his passion about WARBIRDS.
I used to love reading his threads, although many times, Controversy was a factor in his post's.

God Bless You Rob, you seem to be, about a "Hard Headed SOB" that I can be at times. Focus that energy on getting to doing better. I wish you the best.
Regards

Get well soon, Colonel - in the words of Red Green: "I'm pullin' for ya - we're all in this together!"
