Sadly the significance would be lost on all but a tiny few.

All wardbirds must be finished in a military scheme y'know :( . Tenuous, inappropriate or downright faux schemes abound, if it doesn't have a roundel on the side it can't be a real warbird, right ?

Oh for the 1960s and all those civilian P-51s etc. :mrgreen:
