We're still on the road right now..chilling at a hotel in Ann Arbor, MI so we can go to Thunder tomorrow! I think I got most everybody's requests covered..I'll get them posted when I get home Monday.

I saw that Mr. Warbird1 wished to see some pictures of the NMNA's Zero so I though I would share what I have on the plane. Most of this info is dated but some members may find it interesting.

August 2007 still in the hangar having many of the pop rivets replaced and corrosion treating done

I wish Tillamook Air Museum would get their Mauler flying or sell it to someone who would.

Overall I love the museum..they have great collection and fantastic restorations. But I have to admit..that Zero is one of the worst paint jobs on a museum aircraft I've ever seen. Not only is it inaccurate in many respects, it's just plain sloppy and crudely applied. Looks like something that you'd see on a 50s era gate guard, rather than a world class museum. The old scheme was much better..they should have just freshly repainted it in those markings.

OK, now that we're home, I'll see if I can get everybody's requests covered..
