A buddy of mine called me up once, saying he was looking for people with military or re-enacting experience to do some Vietnam scenes for a movie being filmed somewhere is South Carolina. I had a bad school schedule at the time and decided it sounded pretty stupid anyway so I turned him down. The movie was “Forrest Gump”! I could have been in one of the most famous movies of the era. I still kick myself over that.

Bill, I remember Badlands - Martin Sheen's character gets transported in a white with red trim civilian A-26 at the end. I wrote down the registration once but forgot it - N/three digits/one letter I think. Anyone remember which one it was?

I haven't seen the film myself, but several years ago someone mentioned on a forum that it was N4050A. But according to the one time owner of N401Y his a/c was also in a movie, so it could have been that one. Sorry I can't be more specific.
