Darn..I just realized it was the black hurricane...saw it at Yorkshire Air Museum airshow in 2000....another one goes in my departed planes photo album. (only ones I've seen that are gone go in there).

I saw it fly at a small grass airstrip in the UK back in late 1999.

Yes, Sadly.
It had been based at the Real Aeroplane Co Breighton, Yorkshire, which was built around the perimeter track (and a grass strip) of the old RAF bomber base. It went to Tom Blair's collection at Duxford in 2006, where it was repainted as BD707/AE-C.
