The Kamikaze damage is definitely still there. I was at pearl in march and you can clearly see it, as well it is brought to your attention by a small sign. BTW i was really disappointed with the air museum at pearl harbor, and the whole set up at ford island. Considering the historical importance of ford island, it is basically treated as an off limits area to visitors, with a few minor exceptions. The old tower is pretty cool to see, but it would have been nice to be able to tour around the island itself a bit more. I realize that this is an active facility, but maybe a perimeter area or road around the outer island would be nice.

Wisconsin is in a really nice place in Norfolk. I was walking alongside her late one afternoon. A lone mallard duck was in the water right beside her. It looked like he was saying "Okay, hunters, which one of you wants to take on me and my big brother"?
I took a picture with my cell phone, but all you can see is a black dot in the water. Wish I had my D90 with me that day.
