Awww....I think it's kinda cute in a bulldog sorta way  :P

Besides, I have way too many friends and relatives within an easy air strike distance of Creve Couer and I visit them from time to time. It is best to appease the warbird gods.

And taht pilot--you notice he's leaning forward past the wingtip so he can get himself into the picture?

Here are some of my favorites.
The rest can be seen HERE

Minsi looking beautiful as usual

My favorite shot of the Blues

Jive "lighting it up!"

'Psycho'...."Check Six!"

Loved the clouds on Sunday

Eric Downing has more ordnance than you!
Image

Though Sunday I was worried it wasn't going to fire but after a long time of turning....
Image

The Huey looked great. I wish they were selling rides. It would have been a perfect first helicopter ride.
Image

Once again, love the clouds. Flame suit on...I think the Hurri's are the best sounding Merlins.
Image

The Lanc looked and sounded great. My first time seeing one fly. 4 Merlins on one aircraft....LOVE IT!
Image

The Victory Flight was great even though the Mustang couldn't make it up on Sunday. A Lancaster, 2 Hurricanes, 2 Spitfires and a Corsair together. Something special indeed. They were in very loose formation so I couldn't get very good pictures.

Heritage Flight break.

Our Van Ette's new neighbor in the hangar!!!!!!!!!!!! 8)

The encampment was great fun. Lot's of displays.

The ones who, "made it back!"

Thanks to the Yankee Air Museum for putting on a great show.

Regards,
Mark

Looks like it was a GREAT SHOW! Looks like nice weather as well, just a little hazy. Those two troopers on the Greyhound look a little young.....guess it's better than a couple over 50, beerbellied, longhaired troopers! (no offense meant, I just find it funny looking!! ) A great thing to share one's passions with one's kids. Time spent with dad, out playing Army! :D
