I am now trying to find the serial number of P-35A flight #25. This was my model subject and the amazing drawing by Holedigger. It was was operated from Clark Field, Luzon, Philippines, 9-24 Dec 1941. It was assigned to the 5th Air Force, 24th Pursuit Group, 17th pursuit squadron. I have researched the fates of most of the P-35A's sent to the PI. The following I have no history on and could be this aircraft:

41-17448
41-17449
41-17451
41-17453
41-17454
41-17455
41-17457
41-17461
41-17464
41-17465
41-17470
41-17475
41-17476
41-17477
41-17478
41-17479
41-17481
41-17482
41-17483
41-17485
41-17487
41-17490

If you go through the entire list of P-35A's by serial number 41-17455 would be #25 out of 65 total. I do not know if this is the way flight numbers were assigned. I hope those of you on the WIX can help me establish the true ID of this search.
