Mudge the tardy :?

Is Mrs Mudge coming? We need to add her to the Wives of Wix group.

Tim

What is the "Wives of WIX" group? All due respect, but I hope it's not just the wives getting together to do something (shopping/gabbing/etc.) whilst we're at the show. Mrs. Mudge WILL be at the show.

Mudge the fortunate :drink3:

Luckily, Wives of WIX has always remained solidly at the airshow... they all love the planes as much as we do! They frequently get their kicks on taking pictures of us crazy men taking pictures of the planes in formation (us as photographers, not the planes) as well as other fun and colorful photo opportunities :-)

Maybe tolerate airplanes is a better way to put it. They generally find a nice big wing to hide under andjust hang out and watch the show and us.

Wow,
Typically busy week, but I have a few minutes to kill, here goes.

Shannon and I will be heading out Thurday morning to go to Watkins Glen State Park, spending the night in Elmira.
Friday morning, off to Geneseo, possibly camping on the field Friday Night.
Saturday morning, Mimosa's at the flightline!
Sunday, departure time depending on weather, as usual, then the ride home. :?

Looking forward to both dinners, fireworks, and a good group photo, even with Ryan in it.

Stop the rain talk, NOW!

If I remember, I heard there was some model show/contest being held at the field. Is there any more info on this?

Also, wasn't the Zero suppose to be coming in with the CAF Hellcat? Or has this already been discussed?

I have a question for you Geneseo regulars. Is the steak dinner on Saturday inside or outside. WX dudes are promising TSTMS for Sat. evening. If it's outside..."woe betide the diners". Tickets or not, I will not be one of them

Mudge the concerned

Outside, or inside the big tent depending on how you look at it. The only way to have dinner at Geneseo.

This time tomorrow I will be sitting around warbirds and having a brew with good friends.

Sorry but, ambiance notwithstanding, IMHO, the ONLY environment to have ANY kind of meal is DRY!

I was really hoping for a definitive answer.

Mudge the disappointed :(

The Zero won’t be at the show, she is in our hangar with the cowling off. The rumor last week was that she was going back but obviously she isn’t. She will be at Osh.
