Warbird Information Exchange

I find this era fascinating mainly because my father was a flight engineer/plane caption on EA-3B Skywarrirors and EP-3 Orions from the 60s into the 70s. I would like to see more information on encounters of this era.

Scott Royce told me years ago that he was station in eastern west Germany doing some intel stuff. That there was some sort of agreement with the Russians that if an airplane and crashed on their side they would not mess with it if the allies would do the same for one of theirs. One day a mig15 crashed on our side during Korea War and that no one knew the airspeed red line was. So the Russians pick up all they could and left, so Scott goes to the farmer gives him some money to dig around in hole and finds the airspeed ind with the red line still visible.
