Not San Marcos - what are those aircraft in the pictures besides the P-40?

Ryan, if I were to just guess, since the photo came from you, I'd guess those are L-birds of some sort, probably L-5s in the picture. If so, the problem now is that I don't have a clue as to which air field here in Texas that those were based.

You've got us all stumped here.
