Agree totally. Probably be about like restoring a Yale.

As for flying, it would have good characteristics since it has a low wing loading and an eliptical wing. Probably could use an R-1830 or R-2600.

I believe when Diemert originally "restored" the Val, he used a Harvard tail, and a B-25 R-2600 QEC.

That's just old duster stuff... The fuselage has a bunch of intergranular corrosion that needs to be fixed.
