I made up this video to help out the CWH in their drive to raise funds to get FM213 back to airworthy status. After many hours and a few re-do's it is done, but their is a spelling mistake in the intro :( ( yup im a idiot )

So if you could spread the word and feel free to link the video.

I know that the Canadian Lancasters all have a similar problem with corrison in the prop blades. I have a solution for their problem, I have (5) brand new sets of 6519A-0 prop blades available, FOR SALE. I just sold (1) to the Nanton Group and will ship it this week. Please pass this info along to the Powers-to-be with the other Lancs. I can be reached at Warbird-parts.com.

That's great stuff. I wonder when the next time is that she'll make her way out to BC? I also wonder what it would take to have her come out here.

Cheers,

David

Here's their schedule for 2009, looks like they're making 2 stops out west with the Lanc.

Y'all realize there's still a couple pallets of brake stuff for you at CAF HQ, right? I've been out of the loop since I'm no longer employed at the CAF, but I was there very recently and saw the brakes still sitting under the warehouse shed for y'all.

West? You call that west?

Sorry, had to, but maybe I should have asked if it's coming out to the Pacific (since the geographic centre of Canada is actually referred to as West and anything past that is... well... further).

Too bad the Lanc won't be comin' out to BC, it would have been nice to see. I don't know if I'll be able to make it to the other side of the rocks this summer.

Thanks for the info!

Cheers,

David

Lancaster brakes.....well, they were off the Shackleton, but they were given to y'all. When I left, all your bunch had to do was arrange shipping, customs, etc.

Zap me an e-mail if you want further info.

When I saw west I was hoping for Abbotsford. Oh well, at least there'll be Oshkosh. I don't have much but I sent them $50 today.
