I have a few more shots of Col. Douglas's F-105D, AF# 59-1743. I fear that the Colonel may have had more than one Thud, as the life expectancy for a aircraft over NV was short.

In addition Major Phil Delong USMC of VMF-312 in Korea may have flown a Corsair that had eleven "meatballs" on it from WW2 and the two Yaks (red stars) he downed over Korea. All I have ever seen is the Warbird at air shows in these markings. They may not represent an actual aircraft, surprise.
