Are the Trackers still there? Last I heard they had to be removed out of there, including the one that had the wings removed with a chain saw.

They have a bunch of Migs at lancaster airport, LNS in PA. Think they're on the west side of the field, but they're there and i've seen them as i've taxiied by.
Also, when I was living in the Denver are, they have a few british warbirds at an airport near DIA, can't recal the name of the airport or the types since it was many years ago.

Out by KBJC (Broomfield, Colorado) they have a few that have a British Livery. I don't know if they are maintained there, but I have seen them there at several events.

I'm pretty sure that Gnat and Provost belong to Mike Bertz, who also owns 'Stang Evil. If I remember right, he has the notoriety of being the longest continuous owner of a mustang in the U.S. He bought his while still in college! He's a nice guy, too. I flew a T-bird to the Cheyenne Frontier Days airshow a couple of years ago and had a great time with Mike, Mark Johnson (who's Venom burned up last year) and Joe Thibodeau.

This is what I found, they're at Front Range. I believe its an F-8 Crusader, as well as others. The twin next to the F-8 was a tail dragger, and had Roundels. Not as many as I remember, but at least some of them are still there. Any one know what they are? Im interested in the British twin. Here's the link:

BTW, who ones Lucky Lady/Chapter XI? I read: "- WFU, poor condition, Franklin, VA, 1998-2006."

That looks a bit more like an A-7 to me, at least based on the colors.

Great aircraft "Stang Evil".
I have not met Mike Bertz, but have heard nothing but good things.
On the other hand, I can say that Joe Thibodeau is one of the nicest guys I have ever met.

I don't have photos handy, but there is an F-86 in a somewhat deplorable state sitting around Lunken airport in Cincinnati (it was a piece of playground equipment for a while), and an interesting collection of motley-looking jets at nearby Butler County Regional. The HAO planes include a Mig-17 (whose struts have deflated to the point where it is the first taildragging jet I've ever seen), an A-4 in dire need of paint and some sort of polish trainer. I think the guy that owns them has another Mig or two, but they are hangared, so I'm not sure what condition they are in.

I guess no matter how rich you are, you can still live in a house with a bunch of broken-down vehicles in the front lawn.

Yep, as far as I know the PT-23 or it might be a 19 is still sitting out there delaminating.

NAA F-86H-10-NH s/n 53-1528 (c/n 203-300), the last Hog Sabre Built. Still USAF property, stored at KLUK in "limbo".

A personal interest of mine because she's 15 minutes away from where I'll be going to school starting next week.

I'd personally like to see her preserved in Columbus, as it's where she was built, and there's almost nothing commemorating all the aircraft that got their start at the NAA/Curtiss-Wright plant here. How I'd do that, no idea, as I'm just a poor college kid.

The other jets are news to me, however, and I will definitely have to investigate that, especially if there's a MiG-17/Lim-6 involved!

e: While I'm on the subject, do you know where at the Butler County Airport these are located? If so, is it a place that would be accessible to a member of the public, or where they could be photographed?

South county airport (e16) still has a b-25 sitting outside. There is also a P-51 in a Hanger. Last time I saw the Mustang the right strut was flat.

The B-25 isn't a derelict, but a future project that flew into South County last spring. Both the P-51 and the B-25 belong to Ken McBride. The P-51 gets displayed at the Wings Of History Museum when they have space.
