Here's hoping they become more accessible again. I take 51fixer's point that "some may" participate in future Chino shows, but that's a lot different from "all will" participate as has been the case in recent years. I suspect that the last several Chino shows in May will come to be recalled as vintage years, not to be equalled for a while at that venue. Meanwhile it is looking like there could be a true blockbuster in Texas if Friedkin, Lewis, CAF, Cavanaugh, and Lone Star all made a real max effort some year.

Even with what was there at Chino one really can't say that ALL of the Friedkin Family of warbirds were participating at any one show. As big as it has been in the past it has grown and will probably continue to grow if trends continue.
What they have as a collection of both personal and warbird aircraft are their property. As with many personal collections they won't be constantly on public display.
As with many things we should enjoy the opportunity to view and watch these aircraft fly understanding that their will always be change. What has been the past and the present won't always be the future whether we agree or like it.
As Steve Hinton told a bunch of us one day as we complained about a paint job- "Go buy your own and do with as you like".
As much as we have desires for these aircraft the biggest thing is to enjoy them while they are here.
