I'm afraid to open it, it is an official RCAF document. I don't want to create an international incident and risk suffering the wrath of Canuck agression. Imagine, thousands of Diemert Defenders flying low over the border! Oh, the humanity!

'bdk' is the lower case guy with the no ears pic. I'm James, JDK here, and the upper case guy with ears, and currently teeth in the pic. ;)

Looks Like a Marauder to me too

I've seen quite a lot of drawings for various purposes such as this which needed a 'generic' aircraft design (to illustrate parts in relation - ie. nosewheel/tailwheel as here) but came up with a well known type - or near enough. The RAAF Flying boat camouflage scheme is designed onto a Saro Lerwick a type that the RAAF never even considered buying, thankfully.

The men, and women, of our armed forces are great. Unfortunately our government will probably send them down to get you in a canoe with a bow and arrow! Do not worry I will protect you. OPEN IT !

Sorry about the mxup but still, open the envelope with an exacto knife by surgically cutting the end open!

Coo, they were cautious. No fair, you didn't post a photo of the seal side. Has it got Betty II's pinkie ring impressed?

Like they told the man in the restaurant with the elephant's thing in his stew...

You waved it around, it's your problem. :D

Yaaaaa !!
Good stuff. After your posts last week I could not help but drive through the old Penhold base. Harvard 20370 is on a pole. In a town not far I found a B-25 in a field.

Sun Dec 07, 2008 5:57 am

wow the paper is in great shape!! but some of those instructions are redundant :? such as how do you report yourself dead if you crashed solo??
