Gary, Since this is a public forum, you may want to consider bleeping out Doug's personal information?

Good point. It's done now. Sorry about that.

Gary,

If I recall correctly That formation picture I took was probably less than a minute before whatever happened. I noticed them pitch up one at a time to land - and also noticed one heading off in the distance. Didn't know why at the time.

Thanks Bluehawk15. I checked the other forum post that mentioned this event and noted a photo of a light green Kate with a three bladed prop parked next to the one that had the hung gear. I'm thinking the light green one is probably our old Kate.

Is this the same Kate that had a gear-up landing back in March?

I thought you could rock them side to side and unjam them most of the time...Were they stuck THAT bad or am I mistaken?

Whoops. Second read says he tried it at a variety of speeds. I guess they WEREN'T that bad :( too damned bad. Least it won't be as bad as a spt or hurricane or god forbid a real kate...

Yes, it's the same one, but that was a pilot error. Perhaps that incident lead to this problem? Who knows?

When the actuator rips loose, it tends to jamb the gear real bad!
