We just saw a crawler on the KHOU TV network (being broadcast on DirecTV channel 361) that stated there was "hangar damage" at Ellington Field. Nothing more specific, but keep everyone in your thoughts.

I saw some pics on Yahoo of the T hangars at one of the GA airports- looked like someone's box with his toy airplane collection had gotten shaken. Not pretty. Sat what looked like a Cherokee with no wings, and what I'm pretty certain was a Navion jumbled in the pile.

The hangar that TR is in was quite lucky according to the press release from the GCW PIO, Sandy Thompson:
http://www.gulfcoastwing.org/GCW/News-P ... mation.htm

For those who don't or can't link to it, there was fairly minimal damage to the hangar that the B-17 is in and the airplane is fine with little or no damage to parts and equipment. Sandy wants to express thanks for everyones thoughts and prayers for the folks in the affected areas.
