Details as to which P-40's? :D

Man, am I tired, been here since Monday. I was out on a shoot but not with the P-40s. Sad news is Bob Baranaskas P-40 is down at Niagara Falls. We took several planes to Niagara Falls for a press thing. Soon after we landed there was a puddle under his P-40 so he is not moving until he finds where the leak is coming from. He will be back at Geneseo sometime on Friday.

Cavanaugh, Fighter Factory, Clyman and Baranaskas are the P-40s that are here. Several P-51s are due in tomorrow and Snort will do a Heritage Flight in a P-40.

If I can I will get a few photos posted.

It was a dark morning over the trenches. Despite cloud cover we went a head with a dawn patrol to wake Geneseo up. Wheels were up at 5:25am. The weather went from nice cloud breaks on the horizon to rain by the time we shutdown. It was a pleasant flight in the back of the 1 ½ Strutter but terrible lighting for photography.

I was surprised to see we were not the only ones down at the field at 5am. Carol Pilon was down with a news crew to do a live feed to a morning show.

Just got a few more hours sleep and getting ready to head back down to the field.

Hi all,

I am leaving for Geneseo in an hour. I am camping there in a red Streamlite trailer. Stop in and say Hi. Is anyone planning a meeting up there for WIXer's?

Scott reports five P-40's at Geneseo so far... Clyman, Baranaskas, Fighter Factory, Cavanaugh, and John Fallis. Fallis had a mechanical issue and may be down for flying tomorrow.

More updates will be reported as I get them :-)
