Warbird1,

I started with the Collings Foundation by flying the B-25 since I have a type rating. I am only starting to embarrass myself in the B-17 and B-24 under the supervision of Rob, Mac, Pappy, Carl and anyone else brave enough to let me in the cockpit.

Seriously though it is a great honor to fly these awesome aircraft and I am extremely grateful that they are letting me do so. Rob has also been letting me work on the aircraft to get some of the old systems operational like the turrets, radios and other cool things.

I am sorry that I do not have any photos of the Beech after she left my shop. I have left a message with the producer to ask what happened to the aircraft and to see if I can get any photos “on location” but I have not heard back. I will keep trying.

Taigh, she looked pretty good and realistic on the TV commercial. But, you guys are sure wasting your talents by just selling replica parts to tv folks. What would Tighar pay for some "gen u wine" authentic Amelia and Fred plane parts, especially if FOB Nikamoru ?sp?. And for the real jackpot, how bout some WMDs , carefully planted to be discovered soon in Bagdad? You could even include a few California touches, such as a rocket with Arabic writing on the side that says, Hey, Bush, Yo Moma!

or,...Yo Mama to Obama ! Let's be fair and balanced, Bill. :D

Scott and APG 85, If you are building replica weapons of mass destruction, WMDs, which was what my post was about; then any message on such a weapon, written in arabic, is likely to be offensive. Are there polite WMD? I'd say my attempt at humor was wasted on you.

Rick, if there are/ were WMD, origianal or TAigh made replicas; they are going to predate Obama, so no balance needed.
