aren't we all

Yeah, but when you're 17 and all your friends are going to parties and you tell them, "nah, Geneseo is that weekend," or "The Collings Foundation is going to have 909 and Witchcraft at the Schenectady Air Museum that day," people tend to look at you funny. Funnier than the looks the other two guys in that picture get, they're just into video games and that's "more normal."

Plus I'm a guitar geek and I do theater. People who wear t-shirts from Gypsy, listen to Godsmack and Artie Shaw, and like vintage aircraft aren't very accepted in mainstream teen society. It's sad, but I ain't changing.

I think we may be tied, I have had to turn down some true kickassery in the name of family as well.... I turned down a chance to open for Bon Jovi at the (then) Pepsi Arena because I "Had" to go on a family outing on the audition date.

Game tied. Let's not make this a one-upping contest.
um, I'll go have some guitar time I suppose.

My band:

I'm the guy in the middle, we're trying to look cool for the Myspace crowd. We're not cool, we're dorks that talk too much and have "weird" hobbies.

The guitar is an original 1956 Regal Archtop.
It looks like the satge of HEE HAAW. I can see you singing (Where Where are you tonight)

Slight irony that we're a Led Zeppelin style rock band then :D

Sat Jun 28, 2008 7:48 am

So does the 1957 Archtop have the correct number of rivets, where are the invasion stripes, Lycoming or Franklin, correct shade of paint, restored or new build.................so many questions

???
