superchargers on warbirds

All of the big engine T28's I've seen have working superchargers, and I know of one pilot who has flown it at 30k+ feet.

I haven't heard of anyone having problems with them. From what I've seen, about the only time they are placed in high, is during the runup, unless you are going to go above 10,000 feet...
