Great pictures! The photo of the Sea Fury and Yak in formation reminds me; weren't there some Sea fury - Yak dogfights during the Korean War?

That's it. I've decided I'm moving there when I get back to the states. Who owns that Comet replica?

I thought that was his name but couldn't find the time to verify it.

The first time I helped to pull an engine was on the Comet replica. At the time the aircraft was on display at the Wings of History museum in San Martin CA. I think I was about 15 at the time.

Actually, I do have an uncollected ride in it.

The aircraft now lives at the Hollister airport.

It truly is a beautiful aircraft. Its construction is amazing. It was built by Bill Turner and Repeat Aircraft at Flaybob airport. When I was looking at collage, he offered me a job if I ended up in the area. I didn't.

What I want to know is who was flying the Comet? Was it Robin Reid?

As long as your weight is currently under 200#s, that's what kept me from flying in it on Saturday :(
