Hey- one of "my" KC-10A"s struck a deer on the runway while landing once! Luckily, I only got to talk to the guy who had to clean it off the brakes and landing gear... Apparently, it was a little "strong of scent" shall we say?

The cow was pregnant. That don't count as two in the carpool lane according to the highway patrol.

Ahhh deer, lovely animals aren't they? I had to assist in the cleaning of deer dung, from the landing gear, wheel well, wheels, bottom of a old DC8, as well as clean off the runway. Never knew that deer were more full of Sh-- well than my old friend Mr. Mooney, and I'll tell you, it is odd seeing the face of a deer turned inside out and two eyeballs 50 feet apart a lookin up at you.....They be keeping an eye out for ya! sorry to ramble, just had to share..........
