Wow, how cool is that? Congrats, CF! How much are you guys going to be charging for a "flight experience" in the dual control Mustang? I looked on your website, but didn't see anything about it.

So, I'm confused about the "flight experiences" that the Collings foundation offers in the Schwalbe. Is the -262 owned by CF or just on lease to them? Please explain.

Excellent! :D

I thought it was cool that the 25 was added to the tour last year. Now the Mustang! YEAH!!! Can't wait for you to get up to the northwest.

The Me-262 that is mentioned on the website is aircraft #3 that is still being built in WA. We have been working on an agreement with the Stormbird project to guage interest of the Me-262 here in the United States. With the first two flying aircraft not on regular public display here in the US, there has been some question into how much interest exists. The flight training program would help raise the funds to buy the 3rd aircraft.

Thanks for the info. As far as lack of interest here, that really surprises me. I don't believe that any of the -262's have done any public performances here in the States. A lot of people probably don't even know there are any flying. One of the -262's just needs to perform at airshows, so the word can get out. All the -262 needs is a public relations program, so the general population can know about it. I really hope you guys buy that 3rd one, it would really complete the CF's tour package. Imagine a "flight experience" where one could ride in a simulated Schwalbe attack on the B-17 or B-24, and watch the P-51 provide air cover. Exciting, to say the least! :D

Now that "Betty Jane" is going to new pastures, look for a couple exciting new additions to Max Chapman's Fleet.

Sun & Fun will mark the debut of the Newly repainted "MAD MAX" in more accurate 31st fighter colors. This TF is absolutely STUNNING after a complete IRAN and re-paint !

Additionally, there is a CORSAIR back in Max's near future as well !

Excitiing things to come !

The only flying 262 in the states has not made any air show flights :( do to reasons I can not understand but then again the owner will operate his air plane as he sees fit :( there is lots of interest in the 262 you should see how many people come from all over the world just to look at it being built. The Messerschmitt Foundation has had great success with their 262 it debuted at the ILA along with the A380 and our little plane stole the show :!: The Messerschmitt Foundation also had family day and expected 3000 people to show up but that was not even close to the number that actually arrived they had about 90,000 people in attendance :!: :!: :!: Not to bad :!:

Wasn't it supposed to have shown up at the Columbus gathering (or was that just a rumor)? Is it scheduled anywhere?

White 1 as far as I know is not going to be at any air shows in the near future :( and that is to bad because that is exactly what we need inorder to sell the last three air planes :!: Besides how cool would it be to see a P 51 ME262 B 17 and a B24 do passes along the crowd line at an air show :?:

I am just excited to see a smaller fast mover added, that will be a great addition flying in the neighborhood in the fall.

Whats next?

Is the plan for CF to acquire an "enemy" to dogfight on the tour other than the Me262?
