I stopped by his place a few years ago and there is still the Martin 4-0-4 and a small civilian (forget what type) a/c that he said belonged to Jimmy Stewart. He was very accommodating and friendly. We chatted for a while about his exploits. I was meaning to go back up there as of recently and pay him another visit.......now I am upset that I didn't. Still cant imagine that B-17 landing on that dirt strip. I remember my dad taking me there when I was a child and seeing a T-6 take off.

BTW: His P51 'In God We Trust' flies as N630T 'Little Witch' (unless it has had a repaint) and I think his F9F Panther is at Cavanaugh.
