Well, I think I'm just going to end up uploading it from home here in about 2 1/2 hours. WIX doesn't support table codes, so I'll just upload it as a webpage to my FTP and link to it unless someone else comes up with the right formatting.

All,

I can't figure out how to make it look nice using this site, so I just put it here for download.

Thanks Pat and enjoy!

Thanks for taking the time to do that Brian. Now the discission can start. What is the NASM going to do with all this stuff? Only a small amount of this is slated to go on dispaly at Udvar Hazy someday.

I'm guessing the first four digits of the catalog # is the year of donation.

If so what is the story behind the 2004 Grumman Panther?

And where are the B-17G & B-25?

They're not at Garber, but out at the Dulles storage facility ... where Enterprise, the Connie and the SR-71 (amongst others) were parked prior to Udvar-Hazy opening. I'm not sure what else is there now, except for the C-130.

Question of my own ... what's the deal with the General Atomics MQ-1L Predator (UAV)? I remember being at Udvar-Hazy during one of their event days and the Predator was in the process of being assembled down by the X-35. They were getting ready to hang inert Hellfires off of it.

Next time I went it was gone ...

Hello all,

Of the a/c on the list, the following are now at UH:

Beechcraft Bonanza
Double Eagle II
Douglas M-2
Globe GC-1A
Piper PA-12 "City of Washington"

The Republic F-105 was not on the list, but has recently been moved from Garber to UH.

The Kugisho MXY7 is soon to go on loan to the Pima Air Museum, or so I am told.

I would be interested in hearing of any other moves or changes to the Garber aircraft.

Kevin

Hello again,

Another ac on the list that is now hanging at UH is the Waterman Aerobile. The list appears to be between 6 months and a year old, judging by the aircraft that have now left for UH. The list may have some mistakes; for example, the catalog numbers for the Bell Cobra and the model 65 ATV have been reversed.

It is interesting to see that several aircraft that have been on very longstanding loan to NMUSAF or NMUSN have returned. These include the Curtiss TS-1 and Helldiver and North American FJ-1 Fury from NMUSN and Loening "San Francisco" from NMUSAF; all of these have been out on loan since at least the 1970s. The F4 "Sageburner" is now back (I think it spent a few years at NMUSAF).

The Saab J-29 has also returned from the Virginia Air and Space Museum.

An interesting point that I would like more information on is the Grumman F9F-C Cougar prototype, assessioned in 2004. NASM has had a F9F Cougar for many years, but maybe that one was traded for another? Does anyone know the story on this aircraft?

Does anyone know what the next hangings at UH are likely to be?

Kevin

Kevin, Its my understanding the next plane to be placed at Udvar Hazy will be the Loening OA-1A San Francisco. The wings for the He 219 will also be finished this year. I'm sure with time they will be placing more and more out there.
