That's definately an Otter. It's come a long way since I photographed it in Aug. '05 (10 months after Hurricane Ivan's visit.)

Do you have any of the R4D Que Serra Serra with storm
damage?

The tail always was the Otter`s weak point!
but a hurricane will exaggerate that.
The airplane is beautiful regardless, a stock Otter is a rare aircraft these days.

Crying shame, you weren't too far from Ft Rucker (a great museum and the location for the famous B-17 belly landing in "12 O'clock High" and you overflew the remains of Dale Mabry AAF coming into TLH. I grew up there...
Speaking of "12 O'clock High," you drove right by the Archbury set heading to the museum at Eglin, it's Duke Field.
