well if the date is right on the photo there wasnt an issue with how close they actually were. being the last B-25 in the formation that day i got to see it all and they had enough distance in fact from the ground picture it looks way closer then i remember seeing it... and no i dont have a picture i was observer during the flight and didnt have time to scan the sky and get a picture as well.

Absolutely not. I apologize for not making that clearer when using your quoted text. I agree with you, it's an interesting picture - but certainly not a controversial one.
