Anybody see the movie? Was the crash scene realistic? I'm not a Dustin Hoffman fan so I missed it.

The airframe is an EX FAUCETT that Boeing bought when it was trying the unducted fan engine program many moons ago. Boeing went to S.A. to FAUCETTs headquarters and paid a 'steal' price for the airframe. and the airframe is exactly what they bought! FAUCETT removed all rotables and left the carcass. Aditionally, when the aircraft got back to KBFI boeing found out it was pretty well eaten up with corrosion!
Mickey D's entry, a modified MD80 developed so many harmonic cracks in the aft fuselage that I understand the airframe went to the beer can factory-The engine used by Boeing (an ALLISON? built turbine) is now on display in the tourist trap junk yard called the FUTURE of FLIGHT @ KPAE, reffered to by the locals as FLIGHT HAS NO FUTURE, which is now the start of the Boeing Everett tours
