We've got a set of wing spars for one of those here in Midland if anyone is interested in them. You can e-mail me if you're interested.

I seem to remember reading a few years back that the real problem was a tow plane. There was an organization that had a C-47 and wanted to restore a CG-4A, but they couldn't find the towing gear for the Gooney bird or any decent drawings to fabricate it. C-47s originally had the towing gear installed at the factory, but it was usually ripped out to save weight when they went into civillian ops.
