Gosh that traffic is brutal!
The collection is worth the effort.

Kind of like driving in Boston....

Maybe your visit would have been better if Doug's other helpers had been there to show you around ! :D

Or if someone had offered to let me have my senior picture taken there...

I want to stress that I was pretty sure it was just other stuff that left me feeling that way, so I hope I've made clear that I'm not running down the museum in any way shape or form.

Sorry to miss you. Monday was a day where everyone was helping us move from a storage building into another site. We are extremely short of space, as you noticed. The mood changes a lot when the mechanics are working in hangar 3 or we are out running or flying a plane. If anyone asks, we will let them get behind the ropes for better looks and photos. You just had to pick a day when we were all gone.

No worries...I didn't ask for anyone. Due to that sleeploss thing, I was feeling a bit dumb for having forgotten to post here and check in with whoever here was affiliated...I thought a few folks were.

BTW, I mentioned to the receptionist/cashier person that there was a 30-minute documentary I remember seeing on local TV in Pittsburgh when I was a kid. It was the story of your B25's relocation to that cemetery near PGH. Those would've been 2 (KDKA), 4 (WTAE) or 11 (was WIIC, but I think it's changed) back then, as it was all broadcast back in the dark ages. Might be worth it to try and dig it up if they still have it archived.
