Your good. A lot of the stuff I have collected from back then they all seem to call it a P-38 not matter if it's a photo recon version or not.

That pic is from the National Archives and here's the caption that goes with it.

There are a fairly decent lot of those captions that seem to have been somewhat hastily and inaccurately (or inadequately) applied from what I've seen so far. :idea::shock::!: I still remember the one Jack whacked me on! :lol:
