I'll second bdk's words as a general thumbs up for all tanker drivers. It's a tough and dangerous job, little understood by anyone.
There seems to be a marked preference for political focus over killing fires in the US fire systems, from what I read. Obviously I'm not familiar with the nitty gritty though.
