Then you have the Thunder Shreach thats porp had the undesirable sonic quality of making the ground crews crap themselves from the noise / frequency.

Of course most 'propellers' are technically 'airscrews'; propellers having to propel and being fitted to 'pusher' types. ;)

It's said that's why the RAF stopped referring to them as airscrews when sometime early in WW2 the wrong thing was delivered. People instead of props or t'other way about.
