Good points raised there Keith, is the museum @ Pt Cook guaranteed a future though? Is the base still threatened with closure?
The Lib would be great there and certainly seen by more.

Cheers, the Lib would be best seen down there in my book, the werribee guys have done so well but if they want it to be seen by many then Pt Cook is the place in VIC

RAAF Base Point Cook is no longer under threat of closure and a plan for its future development and use is due for release about now. As a Friend of the RAAF Museum I attended the Annual General Meeting which was briefed on some of these developments for the base and the museum. While I won't comment on these matters until the report is in the public arena I think you will be pleasantly surprised by what's planned.
