I knew somebody would object. :) We could have painted stars on it but it still wouldn't have been a bomber. The choice was to paint it in a well researched and accurate scheme from the plane's civil history or leave it sit for a few more years (or decades) until we could dedicate the several years and thousands of dollars it would cost to tear it completely apart and requild it in the original configuration.

The O-52 should be getting its wings in the next couple of weeks. After that it gets paint and goes on display in one of the World War II buildings.

TAdan: The Blenheim ended up outside because we are out of indoor space for planes that size. If anybody has about two million bucks they are willing to donate we'll be happy to fix the situation.

Thanks James, thats what I fgured. Next time I have an extra two million burning a hole in my pocket I'll send it to Pima :wink:

You guys have a great museum and I hope to get out there some day. :D

P.S. I like the corporate scheme on the -23! I bet it will look sharp.
