I sure did like 927. She was gorgeous in the air, as well as on the ground. Gary's work was even more impressive in person.
Also had the great fortune to meet both Gary and David (sabremech) under the wing of 927, and they both spent time talking to me about their work. Thanks guys! It really made Oshkosh even better this year. Keep up the good work!

It was a pleasure to meet you too! It's an incredible feeling to get such a good response from all of you as to the work it takes to keep these old birds flying. Gary is an incredible craftsman and person in what he has shared with us. I'm glad I had the chance to talk to him and you both.
I hope I can come up with some more maint to share with the Wix community in the future.

She looked great. I took pictures of her, and was impressed to no end as I walked around. But you were totally scr*wed by the J2F-4 sitting right next to the people's choice voting tent. I went over there and forgot about you immediately as I got lost in Grumman Duck lust. It was really good seeing you but my seaplane fetish was in high gear....
