And Cliff Robertson used to own a deHavalland Mosquito. I saw it at Airsho 75 in Harlingen.

Auto racing legend Jack Roush owns two P-51s. Author Martin Caidin used to own a Junkers Ju-52-3M.

Wasn't John Travolta's Lockheed Constellation a former C-121, rather than a civilian 749? I may be wrong on that one.

Cheers!

I just can't think of Worf the Klingon flying a Saber jet.

15 or so years ago they were talking about making a movie called "Red Tails" that was going to be about the Tuskegee Airmen. They were going to film a portion of it at our airfield and Michael flew up with the producer in a Jet Ranger to discuss the project but it never materialized. He was going to star in the movie. There have been rumors that Lucas is still considering making the film but not much ever happens with it.

Michael Dorn sold his F-86 to Frank Borman. Frank then sold her on to Ed Shipley who is still the current owner.

Ross Perot, Jr. has that Thunderbird T-38. I thought another race car driver used to own a P-51 also.

Gary Austin briefly owned a Catalina, but I think it was kind of rough. :P

Russ Francis sold all his warbirds.
No clue where the Seafury is.
The Mustang was the all black one featured here a while back doing the bounced landing/nose over with commentary by the most annoying woman on the face of the planet.
He also had a Stearman as I recall.

Sorry Vanguard you are wrong, David Gilmore did not own TD248. At one point Gilmore's company Intrepid Aviation marketed TD248 on the show circuit in the UK but it remained owned and operated by Eddie Coventry.

Is that the one in the background of a Breitling ad with Travolta? You can only see some details but it appears to be something like a Canadair. It's painted black/dark though (could be done in Photoshop...)
