These Hawks were from the 433rd SEFTS. The photo was taken by James G. Weir in November of '43. The image posted by Jack was originally posted by myself here on WIX some time ago and is a scan from one of Jeff Ethell's books... here's a larger version of the image.

I talked to Jim Weir last week about a fellow posing has a 318th FG pilot
and told him about the new paint job. He thought it would be cool and
would be nice to see one without a shark's mouth.
Jeff Ethell sent me a couple of the slides a number of years ago.

Has anyone seen any shots other than the two on this thread of the Napier parrott P-40's? My Dad flew them there and I'd love to see more of them.
