I am not sure but I think that was a modification done by the DOWNEY Corp, here in VT. Lot of the US Fougas were imported by Warplanes Inc. Hense the DM in the N numbers. I remember seeing that being discussed in middleburry VT where Downey is located.

The one I really wanted to see what the mod to the Pratt & whitney Citation engines. Dont know what ever became of it but she was ready for test flight in early 2000. Had huge intakes that would resemble much like a super hornet.

Last time I was around, they were having a hard time getting the FAA to buy it off. They wanted more money thrown at the project and have a wind tunnel test done for the intakes.

The airplane is probably sitting in a hangar some where.

I am not sure passing up a Corsair ride is humanly possible.
