The myths that a) the BBMF would take any meaningful risks with PA474 and b) that NX611 would be a 'replacement' are just fence-line scuttlebutt from people who don't know what they are talking about. Sorry.

I've proofed and written a number of articles on the Flight over the years, usually with help from the current flight C.O.

Secondly, PA474 is 'the Lancaster', 'the Lanc', 'the Bomber', or 'the B.tch' (for some crew) but not normally known by its current scheme - particularly as it changes every few years.

Also, you now appear to have got your caps lock key stuck on, which is known as shouting - please don't.
