This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

Thanks for all of the great remarks! First off the Pittsburgh Steeler issue, I do have a couple of small pics that are signed, but I have them in the corner as it I wanted to keep it more avitaion themed. The prop is a replica. I am really trying to find an old wooden prop for it that doesn't cost a ton. It has been tough. A guy at Oshkosh a few years ago had a prop for me, and I told him that I just needed to hit the ATM, and that I would be right back to get it. I returned like 30 minutes later, it took me thatlong to find one and get back there, and he had sold it. he said people always say that, and never come back. I am really glad that you guys like it.

Hey Steph, if I leave that to you in a will, I am going to be checking my brake lines every morning!

While I don't have a rumpus room. I have our guest room decorated in early American Jack. I've only taken a single picture though. The wings in the print of Big Hog are Tom Blackburn's! Some VF-17 original photos are on the frame. My Navy flight helmet is on the right.

Cool gameroom...gonna need a bigger one soon!

I also have an addiction to aviation art/prints and memorabilia...working on cluttering up my hangar with it, especially the aviation prints, but you're room is in a different league. Cool!
Jack,
I just finished Tom Blackburn's book
The Jolly Rogers--awesome! Sent chills up my spine to see you have a set of his wings. I'm flying a trip right now with a former Navy P-3 pilot Jimmy Thompson--flew out of Moffet and Barbers in the early to mid 80s.
August,
Hope your employer recognizes the added value you bring by running the country

and adjusts your salary accordingly. You could start out with a game nook?? (ease your wife into the concept and grow it gradually so she won't notice).

Hey August, thanks for noticing the cars. I love movie cars, as you can tell since the General Lee is in the garage!

The brake lines?! Pssh, do you think I am some kind of amateur? I'd come up with something better than that!

After all, if I got caught I wouldn't be able to enjoy my new print!

Well, maybe an amateur speller?

What did you ever figure out about school? No pun intended, just curious what you decided.

Apparently that is also true, must have been typing too fast and not really concerning myself with it since I actually do know the correct spelling. Thanks for pointing out the error though . . . sheesh.

Tough crowd around here.
I did make a decision about school, I start Monday. I'll PM you about it though if you'd like. I don't feel like getting into it on here again though.

Don't feel bad Zane, the Family Guy figures make up for the missing aviation pieces.

Good call.
